i was rooting for roddick to win. i wasn’t expecting him to give fed such a great fight for run for the championship. and he was such a good sport during his interview even joking about trying to hold off federer in beating pete sampras’ record of 14.

First trailer for Brothers starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Natalie Portman, and Tobey Maguire. They should’ve decided against using that stupid song from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for this. I mean it’s a JIM SHERIDAN movie.

GOOD GUY (definition) noun. - The good guy is just that, a really “good” guy. He’ll do anything for you. He’s reliable, intelligent, just a really decent individual. And he isn’t always trying to get in your draws. He much rather take it slow with you, be your friend, learn about you and your heart’s desires. He’s most definitely the kind you take home to meet your Mama. The only thing about him is that you’ll have NO romantic feelings for him whatsoever. For some reason he’ll be boring to you. You’ll find him to be a pushover. But it isn’t him, it’s YOU. You’re too stupid to recognize a good thing when it’s right in front of your face. You will only realize this guy’s worth after having dated players, babymakers, losers and psychopaths.. then usually it is too late.

Sometimes I write because there’s nothing else to do, because the sky looks gray, because it’s three in the morning, because nobody is answering their phone. Sometimes I write because I’m told to or asked to or inspired to. Sometimes I write because “you look stunning tonight, dear” and I need to gather words beneath my pen or I’ll never be able to tell you this. Sometimes I write because the song that’s playing on the radio is all too familiar. Sometimes I write because I can’t say these things out loud. Sometimes I write because it’s the only thing I want to do, because nothing else will ever match the rush I feel when my fingers are racing across the keys. Sometimes I write because when I look up at the screen, it’s covered in syllables and paragraphs and punctuation that perfectly illustrates the way my lopsided heart is beating for no other fool but you.
